The amusing part? Trump fully withdrawing the US from Afghanistan (had he done so in a competent fashion) could have been heralded as a flagship accomplishment and maybe helped him to win re-election. Instead, Biden won, and the lack of any forward planning or preparation on the part of the Trump administration meant that the Afghanistan withdrawal needed to be prepared from scratch. Even though Biden will be president in 2022, he will be nothing more than a prop and a president in name only. When it is necessary for an announcement, Biden will be trotted out to a podium to read a statement written for him on a teleprompter. No, absolutely not. Biden has brought a rational approach to government and a focus on politics as “The Art of Compromise” which is so needed to heal the divisiveness in the country. He had admitted mistakes and taken responsibility for his decisions.
